Description: Left of center, 100 encased in elongated ornamental medallion. Right, a male portrait bust of Geo. E. Amyot, 3/4 left, moustached, encased in an oval. Brown band at the bottom with the word "specimen" perforated in dots on left and right, right "specimen" word perforated over signature/ Left, Arms of the City of Quebec. Contains symbols that may be of significance include a cornicopia, sheild with a lion on it, beaver, a sailing ship in the distance, a young half-dressed maiden with her left arm extended, a bee-hive, and a fort (at the top of abraham?). Right of center is 100 encased in the same shaped medallion as obverse.
